Greetings and Welcome to my blog!
It is with great excitement that I begin my journey in the blogging world. I will be writing primarily on all things relevant to enhancing and building the self-assurance of females as well as creating a space of unity and diversity. This in turns, leads us to an array of topics.
Everything that we go through in life has some type of impact on our self-assurance, rather it be a tragic situation or a relationship break up. As a result, we often times allow what has happen to us to hold us hostage; keeping us from reaching our destinations. But, in order to free ourselves of these things that hold us hostage we must first learn to accept ourselves, flaws and all, by being transparent with ourselves. This will then allow others to accept us we as well.
As a female who has experienced several struggles of adversity, I’ll share valuable concepts from my own personal experiences, some inspirational case studies, and significant educational research on organizations and various community awareness. I will also invite guest bloggers to share their expertise from time to time.
It is my wish to create an environment in partnership with you – my readers – to share ideas and experiences related to self-assurance as well as unity and diversity that will be informative to our fellow sisters. By sharing our experiences we learn from one another and grow together as women.
This blog site is being created at a significant stage in my life and career. Although, I have been a role model to several individuals without even knowing it, just last year in April, I launch a nonprofit called SpoilDiva. Inc. and was crowned Miss Montgomery Plus America 2015 in September. I am also in the process of releasing my first poetry eBook. Through these avenues, I help build the confidence and esteem of females by being transparent not only with myself but with others.
As of today, events have happened that I couldn’t possibly have dreamed about. Who would have simply thought that by following my passion of building self-assurance would lead to great partnerships and opportunities. As a result, I have spoken to youth organizations, local community organizations, and has been recognized by the River Region United Way.
I am grateful to have you as part of my community, and look forward to learning from each other in a fun and supportive way. Now, with my first blog completed, it’s time to write the next one! What kind of topics would you like to see posted?
